Overview
Mobile App Development Group (“we,” “us,” or “our”) built MMS — Mall Management System as a business management platform for antique malls, flea markets, and multi-vendor retail spaces. This Privacy Policy describes how information is collected, used, and protected within the platform.
MMS is a business-to-business (B2B) product. The “operator” is the mall or market owner who licenses and configures MMS. End users include vendors and staff who access the platform on behalf of the operator.
Information Collected Within MMS
MMS collects and stores the following categories of information on behalf of operators:
- Vendor information — business names, contact details, booth assignments
- Transaction records — sales amounts, item descriptions, timestamps
- Inventory data — product names, prices, quantities entered by vendors
- Account & settlement data — vendor account balances and payout records
- User account data — login credentials (email/password, hashed) for platform access
This information is entered directly by operators, vendors, and authorized staff. MMS does not collect information about retail customers browsing a store; it is an internal management tool only.
How Information Is Used
Data stored in MMS is used solely to:
- Operate the platform for the subscribing mall or market operator
- Enable vendor management, POS checkout, and reporting features
- Generate account statements and settlement records for vendors
Our Commitment: We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share any data entered into MMS with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes — under any circumstances. Your business data, vendor records, and transaction history belong to you.
Data Storage and Security
MMS data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on infrastructure you control or that we provision on your behalf. We employ the following security practices:
- Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
- All connections between client and server use HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Access to the database is restricted by role-based permissions
- We recommend operators restrict platform access to authorized personnel only
Third-Party Services
MMS may integrate with third-party infrastructure providers (such as cloud hosting or email delivery services) solely for the purpose of operating the platform. These providers do not receive your business data for their own use. We do not embed advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs that collect end-user data.
Purchases and Licensing
If you purchase an MMS license or subscription, payment is processed through our approved payment processor. We retain only what is necessary for billing and account management. We do not sell or share your purchase or payment information for any reason.
Data Retention
Operator data is retained for the duration of the active license. Upon termination or request, we will assist with data export and will delete your data from our systems within a reasonable timeframe as agreed in your service agreement.
Your Rights
As an operator, you have the right to:
- Access and export all data stored in your MMS instance
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data upon account termination
Vendors using MMS should contact their mall operator for data-related requests, as the operator controls the data within their instance.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and notify active operators by email where required by applicable law.
